The smell and out dated decor
Staff considerate, very busy hotel, room clean
Bed very soft not great for a good night rest
Does what it says on teh tin.... cheap, value-for-money hotel
I had a bed to sleep in
No restaurant, had to go to the kfc nearby. The milk was off i ran out of date in 09, was lumpy. Food nearby was terrible
Very useful as in in-between venue for myself and partner when on business during weekdays.
Carpet damaged by electric iron - should have been replaced. Shower overflowed onto bathroom floor
The peace and quiet. For a service station there was no undue noise.
Had a smoking room, which was the best thing about the stay.
Pleasantly surprised. Ideal for my needs of a budget nights stay while working in the area. Free internet useful. Clean spacious room, adequate desk space, good bathroom. 24 reception.
sofa bed so dirty and stained , bed to soft, room very tired and not enough towels was not impressed
Friendliness of staff and cleanliness
services- there was no internet connection or phone signal in my room and this is a major problem for me on a bisiness trip
Convenient location for travelling southbound on M3. Good stopover whilst travelling on business.
Location not good if travelling north on M3
Didn't enjoy the stay at all. Receptionist was rude and did not want to sort the problem of our smelly overbearingly hot room and only did so on our insistance with a lot of huffing and puffing. our complimentary biscuits had also been opened and one eaten we did not want them replaced but thought it not good form she did not see this. We moved room but I had to return the original room key to reception even though I was in my pyjamas! I made a complaint the next morning and was told I would recieve a call but I never did. I will never return.
Our first room was at the end of the corridor and would have been noisy. I rang through to reception and was immediately offered a different room which was in a much quieter position and I was very grateful for this and was not disturbed by any noise. Room was spacious and clean and comfy.
The excellent check in experience. Jackie was simply great and a credit to her company. Also the standard of room 27 was very good indeed and good value for money! Whilst being at a service station it still has the benefits of many eating areas and a Waitrose as well. Simply a very good experience and stay and I will certainly use again..
